Introduction

Welcome to my musical journey! I’m Jeffrey Ballard, a St. Louis native and classically trained tenor with a rich history of performance and musical education. I have a great love for singing and am excited to share it with the local community as well as help other people rediscover their own passion of music. After having been a part of the corporate world for over 25 years, I understand the importance of reclaiming your passion and making it a substantial focus of your life.

Performance Highlights

My passion for singing has led me to perform with some of the most esteemed local ensembles, including the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, American Kantorei, and the Bach Society of St. Louis. I have also been privileged to serve as Principal Soloist and Assistant to the Director at Christ Church Cathedral and to direct and sing with the St. Anselm Schola.

Current Roles

Currently, I am the Assistant Director and Principal Lead/Soloist with the Masterworks Chorale, where I bring my love for choral music to life. I am a principal choir member and soloist at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, where I continue to practice and explore many different genres of music.

Educational Background

My educational background includes dual majors in instrumental and vocal music from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Additionally, I refined my skills abroad at the Rachmaninoff State Conservatory in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, specializing in choral and orchestral conducting.

Passion for Coaching

Beyond my performance career, I am dedicated to helping others rediscover their love for singing. I am developing an online coaching and marketing business focused on assisting people to reconnect with their passion for music. Through personalized coaching, I aim to reignite the joy of singing and help individuals achieve their musical aspirations.
